The Blink Video Doorbell (2nd Gen, 2025 Release) Add-On (Black) features head-to-toe HD view, two-year battery life, and requires a Sync Module (sold separately) for full functionality. 
Key Features and Specifications
• • Head-to-Toe HD View: The 2nd Gen model provides 1440 x 1440 resolution video with a 1:1 aspect ratio and an expanded 150° horizontal and vertical field of view, allowing you to see visitors and packages on the ground more clearly.
  • Two-Year Battery Life: It operates on three AA 1.5V lithium metal non-rechargeable batteries, which can last up to two years under default settings and normal use.
  • Simple Setup: The device is easy to install either wire-free or connected to existing doorbell wiring. Setup involves scanning a QR code in the Blink Home Monitor app.
  • Required Sync Module: This "Add-On" version does not include the required Sync Module Core. A Sync Module is necessary to connect the doorbell to your network, enable live view on demand, and use local storage (with a Sync Module 2 and USB drive).
  • Weather Resistance: The doorbell has an IP65 rating, offering improved protection against the elements.
